Belt deviation is one of the most common faults in belt conveyor operation. There are many reasons for the deviation, the main reason is low installation accuracy and poor daily maintenance.
1. In the installation process, the head and tail drum, middle roller as far as possible between the same center line, and parallel to each other, to ensure that the chain net belt is not partial or less partial. In addition, the belt joint should be correct, both sides of the perimeter should be the same. This will effectively prevent the tape from straying.
2. In the process of use, if there is deviation, the following checks should be made to determine the cause and make adjustments.
Chain type network belt running deviation often check parts and processing methods are:
Check the roller horizontal center line and the longitudinal center line of the chain mesh belt. If the non-contact value exceeds 3mm, the long mounting holes on both sides of the idlers should be used to adjust them. The specific method is to which side the conveyor belt is biased, which side of the idler group moves forward to the direction of the chain net belt, or the other side moves back.
Check the deviation value of the two planes of the head and tail frame mounting bearing seat. If the deviation between the two planes is greater than 1mm, the two planes should be adjusted in the same plane. The adjustment method of the head drum is: if the chain net belt to the right side of the drum, the bearing seat on the right side of the drum should move forward or the left bearing seat moved back; If the conveyor belt deviates to the left side of the drum, the bearing seat on the left side of the drum should move forward or the bearing seat on the right side should move backward. The adjustment method of the tail drum is just opposite to the head drum.
Check the position of the material on the conveyor belt. The material is not centered on the cross section of the conveyor belt, which will lead to the deviation of the chain net belt. If the material deviates to the right, the belt deviates to the left and vice versa. Center the material as far as possible in use. In order to reduce or avoid this kind of conveyor belt running deviation can increase the baffle plate, change the direction and position of the material.
